A tidy hatchback sits at the shorter end; a family SUV with pet hair, sand and child seats sits at the longer end. A maintenance detail is quicker again at one to two hours. Ceramic coating packages are booked over one to three days or more, because the polishing and curing stages can't be rushed.
Our three detailing packages start at $150 for a Mini Detail, $300 for a Premium Detail and $550 for an Ultimate Detail, priced by vehicle size — the full guide is on this site. Those are genuine starting prices for a vehicle in reasonable condition. A heavily neglected car, pet hair or a recovery job takes longer, so send a few photos with your enquiry and we'll confirm a firm number, usually the same day. Paint correction and ceramic coating are always quoted after seeing the paint.
Yes. We run our mobile service the full length of the mountains, from Mount Victoria and Blackheath through Katoomba, Leura and Wentworth Falls down through Springwood to Blaxland. Because we are based in Lithgow we come at the mountains from the western end, which makes us closer to the upper mountains than almost any Sydney-based detailer. Correction and ceramic coating work is usually booked into the Lithgow workshop, which is about twenty minutes from Mount Victoria.
Yes. We run a mobile service across Lithgow, the Blue Mountains, Bathurst and the surrounding areas, and we arrive with the full professional kit — all we need on site is a connection to power and water. Some services, particularly ceramic coating, also need a suitable enclosed space, so we confirm that when you book.
Paint correction is the process of machine polishing a vehicle's clear coat to remove defects — swirl marks, wash scratches, oxidisation, haze and light scratches. A small, controlled amount of clear coat is levelled so that the surface reflects light evenly again. It is not a filler or a temporary cover-up; the defects are physically removed.
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your clear coat and cures into a hard, transparent protective layer. Unlike a wax or a sealant that sits on the surface for a few weeks or months, a coating becomes a semi-permanent layer that resists chemicals, UV and contamination, and makes the paint dramatically easier to keep clean.
No. This is the single biggest myth in the industry. A coating adds meaningful chemical and environmental resistance, and it helps against very fine marring, but it will not stop a shopping trolley, a key, or a dirty wash mitt dragged across the paint. What it does is make the surface much easier to clean, which in turn means far fewer wash-induced scratches over the life of the car.
